The Active Care Group are dedicated to harnessing the power of data to drive informed decision-making. We are seeking a talented and experienced Power BI Developer to join our dynamic team and assist our efforts in data visualisation and reporting.
As a Power BI Developer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our data visualisation and reporting capabilities. You will lead from the front to design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI. Your expertise in data visualisation and business intelligence will be essential to drive insights and support data-driven decision-making across the organisation.
What you'll be doing:
1. Power BI Development: Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights to various business units.
2. Data Integration: Oversee the integration of data from multiple sources into Power BI, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
3. Performance Optimisation: Continuously optimise existing Power BI solutions for performance and usability.
4. Quality Assurance: Implement rigorous quality assurance processes to ensure data accuracy and reliability in reports and dashboards.
5. Project Management: Manage project timelines and resources effectively to deliver Power BI solutions on schedule.
6. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, data scientists, and business analysts, to ensure alignment and integration of data solutions.
7. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of Power BI solutions, data sources, and processes.
What you'll have:
1. Proven experience in Power BI development and data visualisation.
2. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
3. Proficiency in SQL.
4. Intermediate to advanced DAX is essential.
5. Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL processes.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Power BI certification is a plus.
