TEACHING ASSISTANT
Verbatim Education is working with schools in Shrewsbury who are seeking a full-time Teaching Assistant to join them from January to work across KS1 to KS4 classes.
This Teaching Assistant role is to support both students and the class teacher with the day-to-day running of the classroom. You must be confident in supporting KS1 to KS4 students, working on a one-to-one basis and in a group capacity as required.
Due to the nature of this role, you must have experience supporting young people with Special Educational Needs such as Autism, Dyslexia, and ADHD above the age of 11 years.
This Teaching Assistant role will involve supporting the class teacher with various tasks, including keeping all students on task and ensuring that the work they are doing is completed to a good standard.
You will be responsible for preparing resources for the day and ensuring the classroom is kept clean and tidy.
