Nursery Assistant
Location: Altrincham, Greater Manchester, North West England
Job Type: Temp to perm, Full-Time

Salary: £83.85+ Per day
Job Duties:
* Assist in the daily care and supervision of children in the nursery
* Support the implementation of age-appropriate activities and programmes
* Ensure a safe and nurturing environment for children
* Help with feeding, nappie-changes, and personal hygiene routines
* Monitor and engage in playtime and outdoor activities
* Assist in maintaining records and updating children's progress reports
* Collaborate with other staff members to plan and organise educational and recreational activities
* Communicate effectively with parents and provide updates on their child's development
* Adhere to health and safety regulations and follow nursery policies and procedures
Experience:
* Prior experience working in a nursery or childcare setting is preferred
* Experience in assisting with child development activities and routines
Knowledge and Skills:
* Understanding of child development principles and practises
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a nursery environment
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in working with children
Working Conditions:
* Work in a nursery setting with young children
* Full-time hours, including some weekends or evenings as required
* Physical stamina to supervise and engage in active play with children
* Adherence to health and safety guidelines, including proper hygiene practises

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
