This post holder will provide operational leadership and objective setting to a range of Community Health Services therapy services including Wheelchair services, Podiatry, and the Occupational and Physiotherapy teams within the primary care at home teams. The post holder will be responsible for the effective management of human resource, financial resource, governance and business planning arrangements across the service lines including business continuity and quality improvement initiatives. A key part of this role will be to form and maintain strong relationships with system partners in acute and social care in order to facilitate strong working relationships with a particular focus on integration with CBC reablement teams working at place to reduce ongoing care requirements, admission rates and improve patient experience. The post holder will support the development of services, AHP workforce strategy and integration of AHP services with system partners as required. A key part of this role will be to form and maintain strong relationships with system partners in acute and social care in order to facilitate strong working relationships with a particular focus on integration with CBC reablement teams working at place to reduce ongoing care requirements, admission rates and improve patient experience. You will work closely with the senior nursing manager and the Community Health Services Associate Director for Central Bedfordshire Council to create a strong, unified at place CHS team, deputising for these roles as required.
