One-to-One Teaching Assistant
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate One-to-One Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with additional learning needs in a welcoming and inclusive school in Grimsby. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in a child’s educational journey, providing tailored support to help them reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide one-to-one support to a pupil with specific learning needs.
* Assist with classroom activities, adapting materials and tasks to meet the child's needs.
* Implement individual education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the class teacher and SENCO.
* Foster a positive and supportive learning environment, promoting confidence and independence.
* Monitor and record the pupil’s progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents where necessary.
* Support the child’s social and emotional development, encouraging positive behaviour and engagement.
Requirements:
* Experience working with children in an educational setting.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Minimum GCSE Grade C (or equivalent) in English Language and Mathematics.
* A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
