An exciting opportunity has arisen for Band 5 Pre Surgical Preparation Practitioners at the Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother Hospital in Margate.
In this role you will be part of an innovative and exciting team to provide exemplary, high standard of pre-operative care. The successful candidate will be working within the Pre-assessment Clinic and the Surgical Admissions Lounge. The applicant should be highly motivated and have an innovative and dynamic approach in the development of preoperative care. Main duties of the job
To carry out pre-assessments for patients undergoing planned surgery for multiple specialities including orthopaedics, general surgery, women's health and head and neck surgery.
To admit patients on the day of surgery to the admissions ward.
