Job summary Bosham Ward are looking for an experienced, highly motivated Ward Manager to lead the team & provide nursing care of the highest standard. Bosham is a 27 bedded ward caring for General Medical patients and Care of the Elderly patients. We are seeking a dynamic, motivated nurse that has experience at deputy sister / ward manager level who is enthusiastic and hardworking. Bosham promotes excellent team work and offers supportive mentoring, demonstrating a positive attitude to all working on the Ward. As a Band 7 you will be expected to lead the multi-disciplinary team, and bring a positive attitude to the department. You will require outstanding communication skills and need to liaise between the Matrons and all others members of the MDT. Bosham Ward actively work towards improving patient care using the PFIS / DMS, Involving all staff members in making positive changes and influencing others. You will be expected to manage all staff members, deal with complaints at ward level and participate in clinical audits. Other responsibilities will include managing off duty, undertaking risk assessments and reviewing incident forms and formulating learning, daily staffing huddles are routine to maintain excellent communication to help enhance safety for our patients and staff.
