Job overview
We are looking for an experienced Domestic Supervisor to work as part of the Facilities Department based at Clatterbridge Hospital. You would be providing quality domestic support to ensure we perform to a high standard of cleaning and domestic duties within our 71 inpatient bed unit. This position requires access to transport for work purposes.
This vacancy is Part time - 30 hours per week.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for an enthusiastic Domestic Supervisor to join our facilities team. A successful candidate will receive full training and a uniform will be provided. You will be required to work as part of a team and be flexible within your working approach (e.g., cover for annual leave and sickness). Previous experience in a domestic environment would be advantageous; if not, training will be provided.

Qualifications
* General Education
* Access to transport for work purposes
* NVQ3 in facilities management or equivalent
Knowledge and Expertise
* Ability to prioritise workload
* Ability to adhere to standards and procedures
* Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
* Must be able to communicate well with all levels of staff and service users
* Ability to conduct staff appraisals and effective supervision
* Knowledge of dealing with difficult situations and coming to resolutions
Experience
* Experience of supervisory/line management responsibility
* Previous experience in dealing with the general public including customer focus
* IT literate
* Worked in a healthcare facility within facilities services
