KITCHEN TEAM MEMBER
The kitchen staff is responsible for ensuring all areas of the kitchen, food prep, and food storage areas are clean and properly sanitized. This includes washing dishes and cooking equipment, cleaning floors, sanitizing countertops and cutting boards, and maintaining all areas to health code standards.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Keep kitchen area clean and sanitary while preparing food.
2. Slice, peel, and dice ingredients using sharp knives, blades, and kitchen equipment.
3. Use hot stovetops and ovens to cook food.
4. Prepare foods into an approved recipe format in preparation for cooking.
5. Cook and prepare food items, stocking food items as needed.
6. Clean and maintain kitchen and food prep equipment.
7. Maintain proper sanitation controls of products.
8. Stand for your entire shift and lift up to 50lbs/23kg.
9. Demonstrate dependability, hard work, friendliness, trustworthiness, and honesty.
10. Exhibit attention to detail, punctuality, and a great service attitude & team spirit.
11. Be flexible to help in other positions as requested.
12. Work all weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday), all holidays, and evening shifts.
13. Understand that you may not work the same shifts or have the same days off as friends.
14. Be aware that hours at a job cannot be 100% guaranteed; there is a possibility of working more or fewer hours.
Minimum Requirements:
Kitchen experience required.
