We’re looking for a MI & Reporting Specialist to join us in Bradford on a part time basis for 22.5 hours per week. Ideally this will be spread over 4 or 5 days.
The purpose of this role is to deliver Payment Operations data, management information, analysis and insight to internal and external customers in order to drive good decision making and improvements in business performance .
Reporting into the MI & Reporting Manager, this role would suit someone from within the financial sector who has skills in both excel and Power Bi
What will you be doing?
1. Producing timely, accurate and high quality periodic MI reports
2. Developing and adapting MI according to requirements and to keep it relevant and important
3. Responding to ad-hoc requests for MI, data or analysis, and finding opportunities for new periodic reports
4. Understanding business processes and underlying data, and adding new value and practical insights to MI
5. Building positive relationships and collaborating with a variety of roles at all levels
6. Seeking opportunities to improve business performance or drive business benefit through data analysis
7. Supporting systems or processing change to help maintain data integrity and identify new reporting opportunities
We tend to look for people with:
8. Experience working in an reporting/MI role
9. Advanced MS Excel user
10. Experience working with complex data
11. Understanding of financial systems data
12. Knowledge of oracle financials, business objects or information management systems
13. Previous experience of shared service centre operations desirable
14. Previous experience in a large organisation, with high volume transactions
