Leading the site HR team, this role offers full HR responsibility across a busy site, working closely with the operational site leadership team.
The organisation is a highly successful and well-established global business working to exceptional high standards with key attention to quality and H&S. The HR Manager is site-based but also works as part of a wider supportive and experienced UK-wide HR team.

THE PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
The purpose of the role is to be a true HR Business Partner to the operational site leadership team, providing a solid, effective HR service across the site that aligns with both site and divisional objectives. The responsibility of the HR Manager and the HR team will be to ensure the day-to-day delivery of a professional and effective HR service.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Engage with, lead, and support the site HR team.
2. Support and coach Managers on HR Best Practice and continually develop leadership abilities and self-awareness.
3. Manage and develop employee performance, ensuring high standards are maintained.
4. Ensure legal compliance is achieved across the site.
5. Oversee the recruitment process, ensuring appropriate skills and experience are achieved through effective resourcing and talent management.
6. Look for ways to continually improve employee engagement, including employee wellbeing.
7. Ensure all records are up-to-date and accurate.
8. Take ownership for the fair and consistent implementation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance.
9. Act as budget holder for Training and Development.
THE CANDIDATE:
1. CIPD level 5.
2. At least 2 years' experience working in a leading HR position managing an HR team with site responsibility.
3. Excellent leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills.
4. Excellent stakeholder management skills, confident working as part of an operational site leadership team.
5. Strong HR leader and excellent manager of HR team members.
6. Good business acumen and a real interest in site business and process.
7. Ideally worked in a manufacturing environment (blue/white collar).
8. Exposure to a wider broader HR role, getting involved in many key areas of HR.
9. Previously worked in a leading site HR role and as part of a wider UK HR team for a global business.
10. Strong communication skills at all levels and good emotional awareness are key.
11. Excellent attention to detail, capable of drilling down to the details and interested in finding out the facts/details/reasoning.
12. Good problem-solving skills, solution finder, and innovative thinker.
13. Previous experience in a KPI process-driven organisation, experience of analysing data and uncovering trends.
14. A 'can do' attitude, ideas person, and problem solver - someone who brings energy to the team and is prepared to 'muck in'.
15. Confident, engaging, articulate, excellent listener, and inspiring HR Manager.
