BUSINESS AND PARTNERSHIP DEVELOPMENT OFFICER
Salary : NICS EOI £30,721-£31,352 per annum, pro rata (under review)
Job type : Fixed term, one year
Hours : 30-37 hours available
Location : Skainos Centre, Belfast (with option for hybrid working)

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Business and Partnership Development Officer.
The right person will :
* drive growth
* foster key strategic collaborative partnerships
* develop organisational capacity to expand service delivery
About the role
This role involves :
* nurturing new and existing strategic partnerships through appropriate engagement activities
* developing and maintaining a database of business partners and contacts
* creating and maintaining effective internal working relationships to develop opportunities and maximise revenue
* researching to identify potential funding sources for service development, including submitting funding applications
* making recommendations to Housing Rights Leadership team and board to enable informed decision-making on key business opportunities
About you
You will have :
* a third level qualification (or equivalent) in a relevant business-related discipline
* demonstrated knowledge of public, private and statutory sectors and market competitors
* at least 2 years full-time (or equivalent part-time) experience of working in business planning or development, and partnership development or fundraising
* demonstrated commitment to collaborative working practice
* demonstrated experience of at least two of the following:
o building and managing partnerships
o fundraising (private or non-public)
o sales or marketing
o income generation
o social enterprise
* a full valid driving licence or ability to meet the mobility requirements of the post as will be required across Northern Ireland often at various locations on a single day

We help people with their housing and homelessness problems through our helplines and advice work. We use their experiences to bring change and improvements with our policy work. We educate and inform others working in the housing and advice sectors to help their clients.
