Queen Margaret University Sport & Fitness is looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, and customer-focused individual to join their team. The facilities include a fitness suite and weights room, exercise studio, outdoor all-weather pitch, and sports hall. The successful applicant will be required to supervise the use of all areas of the centre, carry out gym inductions and programmes, set up equipment, deliver exercise classes, provide excellent customer service, and perform reception duties.
You will have a Fitness Instructor (Gym) qualification equivalent to REPs level 2, the ability to lead group exercise classes, and a First Aid at Work certificate. The ability to work in a team within a customer service-focused environment is essential for the role. You should be adaptable, flexible, and able to use your own initiative. Previous experience in a similar position, a REPs level 3 qualification, and the ability to instruct specialized exercise classes (for example, indoor cycling, yoga, etc.) would be desirable for the role. Shifts will include working evenings and weekends.
