About the Role: As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and mentoring other team members. Working within a therapeutic solo setting, you will support a child or young person with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD), helping them develop life skills and achieve positive outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Direct Support & Care: Provide 1:1 support to a young person with EBD and trauma-related needs. Implement individual care plans and behaviour strategies. Create a safe, nurturing, and structured environment. Mentoring & Teamwork: Act as a role model and support less experienced staff members. Work closely with the Registered Manager and therapeutic team to ensure the best care approaches. Safeguarding & Compliance: Maintain Ofsted standards and ensure safeguarding procedures are strictly followed. Keep up-to-date records and contribute to ongoing care reviews. Requirements: Experience working in a residential childcare or EBD setting. Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards it).
