SEND Teaching Assistant - Hounslow - Immediate Start!
Join a Primary School in the Hounslow area as a SEND Teaching Assistant. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 08:30am to 4pm, immediate start position. Prior experience working as a Teaching Assistant in KS1 and KS2 would be preferable, but you must have experience working with children in some form of capacity in the UK. For this position, being Team Teach trained would be ideal.
About the Role:
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will need to help teachers and other colleagues in creating a safe, fun, and inclusive learning environment for all children. You will support children including SEND children, working with them on a 1:1 level or in small groups. Additionally, you will help in organising and implementing educational activities both inside and outside the classroom. Your role will also involve supporting children's learning by motivating, encouraging, and assisting with their educational progress.
What we are looking for:
1. Available to work Monday to Friday, 08:30am to 4pm.
2. Prior experience working with children in the classroom is preferred; must have experience with children in some capacity (in the UK).
3. Comfortable providing support for SEND children on a 1:1 level.
4. Have or be willing to obtain a Child only DBS.
5. Live local to Hounslow or within a commutable distance.
