Salary £23.22 - £24.47 per hour (£50,850 - £53,580 per annum) dependent on experience

We are looking to recruit a Site Maintenance Manager at our new, state of the art warehouse, E3.
You must be self-motivated and proactive, able to develop positive working relationships with your team and Operational Managers across the warehouses.
The key duties and responsibilities of the Site Maintenance Manager:
6. Provide leadership and day to day supervision of a team of Maintenance Engineers, prioritising workload and managing appropriate resources.
7. Prioritise repairs, breakdowns and planned preventative maintenance of our huge range of pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors, and cranes to ensure equipment is running to its optimum performance to meet all performance targets
8. Manage the maintenance stores ensuring sufficient spare parts are available, adjusting and re-ordering as required.
9. Analysis and resolution of Electrical and Mechanical faults and repairs escalated to you by Engineers.
10. Escalate any fault or breakdown that you cannot deal with to the Engineering Manager to ensure that operational targets are adjusted or managed as appropriate
11. Performance reviews and management of the Maintenance Team, providing feedback to enhance individual performance. Coaching and mentoring to enhance personal and professional development of your team
12. Work with other managers within Operations to ensure optimum flow of goods through the warehouse
13. Be a Health & Safety ambassador, ensuring safe working practices are a priority within your team and across the site.
The successful candidate will have:
14. Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship and ONC or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (HNC preferred)
15. Strong people management experience, leading teams of 4+ people
16. The ability to teach and guide a team in the technical aspects of engineering
17. Sound knowledge of communication systems – Profibus, Profinet, ASIbus or CANbus?
18. PLC Experience
19. Experience of installations, maintaining and troubleshooting of inverters, solenoids, servo drives, solenoids
20. Excellent communication skills
