Salary: £31,000 - £35,000
Due to continued success across the business, a market-leading manufacturer is seeking to enhance its team on site with the appointment of mechanical fitters within their department.

Role Description
* Read and analyse assembly drawings, bills of material and specification to plan machine build operations.
* Fit and assemble components according to specifications, using correct tools and recognised engineering methods, while verifying conformance of parts.
* Communicate any build and documentation issues to Operational Leadership and/or Engineering.
* Mark all fasteners and sign worksheet to confirm torque and quality checks have been completed.
* Support internal and customer pre-delivery inspections.
* Debug assemblies and machines by identifying and correcting problems affecting proper operation.
* Dismantle equipment and assist with packing and loading if required.
* Ensure that time is booked to the relevant manufacturing order.
Skills and Qualifications
* Qualified preferably to ONC/HNC in a mechanical engineering subject.
* Minimum of 3 years experience in machine building and set up in a manufacturing environment.
* Experience preferably in the machine building industry.
* Ability to read and understand drawings and build specifications.
* Able to operate machine tools.
