Contract Outline:
Role: Electrical Package Manager
Sector: Energy from Waste
Location: Cheshire
Contract Length: 18 months
IR35: Paid via CIS
Rate: £48-52ph
Role Description:
Responsible for overseeing the entire Electrical (HV & LV) scope of a large Energy from Waste Plant. This includes the installation of LV rooms with equipment down to 110V and HV cables up to 132kV.
Responsibilities:
Overseeing the electrical (HV & LV) scope of the project.
Work closely with the HV & LV electrical supervisors.
Managing and coordinating with electrical subcontractors.
Produce reports on technical queries (TQ's) and productivity.
Monitor project progress and ensure on-time delivery.
Essential Skills:
Experience in managing electrical installations on industrial construction sites (e.g. energy, power plants).
Knowledge of BS 7671 and HV systems (e.g. earthing).
Practical construction site experience and ability to manage subcontractors.
Project management, communication and organisational skills.
Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.

IOSH Managing Safely
