Summary
Ensure smooth operation of facilities across UK locations. Autonomously manage daily tasks while meeting high standards. Regular Friday afternoon work and occasional out-of-hours/weekend work required.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform in-house PPM on equipment (generators, compressors, AC, air quality systems).
* Conduct monthly safety checks (fire extinguishers, emergency exits, water temps, site security, etc.).
* Maintain Facilities Service Request Log and complete DIY maintenance tasks.
* Assist in arranging and supervising contractors.
* Handle general repairs (plumbing, electrical, painting, flooring, safety checks).
* Order parts/equipment and manage waste collections.
* Respond to emergencies and ensure site safety.
* Support business continuity and emergency response plans.
Skills & Experience
* Strong relationship-building skills with colleagues/contractors.
* Proficiency in MS Office.
* Hands-on maintenance skills, including plumbing and electrical work.
* Health & Safety awareness.
* Experience managing small building projects.
* Ability to lift, move, and work at height; must be physically fit.
