Job summary We are recruiting for a Theatre Practitioner to our multi-disciplinary team who wishes to join TeamIOWNHS. We are open to application from both registered Nurses and Operating Department practitioners, with experience in any of the three perioperative disciplines or Scrub, Anaesthetics or Recovery. Our service consists of 4 Main theatres, 2 Day surgery theatres, 1 Ophthalmology theatre and 1 Maternity theatre. We can provide experience in a number of surgical specialities including: General Surgery Breast Surgery Colorectal Surgery Gynaecology Obstetrics Trauma & Orthopaedics Urology Emergency Surgery ENT Max Fax Ophthalmology We would welcome applications from both experienced and newly qualified Nurses or ODP's that believe they can support the leadership and development of our team whilst providing expertise and facilitating the delivery of evidenced-based practice. Main duties of the job The successful applicant will mainly be based with the Main theatres team, although flexibility across all theatres will be required, and will be rostered to work a mix of duties including weekends, on-call and dependant on experience/role, Nights.
