We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Controls Lead to join our team. This critical role involves establishing and maintaining project controls for each project within a major transport programme.
The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up consistent controls for cost, schedule, and scope, ensuring that project progress is documented accurately and consistently across the board.
What you will be doing.
* Establish and maintain project controls for cost, schedule, and scope.
* Develop and implement reporting platforms to document project progress.
* Collaborate with project teams to ensure consistent application of controls.
* Aggregate and update project status and milestones for various projects.
* Provide visibility to enabling services on major milestones, procurements, and potential business pressures.
* Implement technical solutions such as Power BI dashboards and integrate schedules from P6 and Microsoft Project.
* Establish baseline budgets and ensure forecasted budgets are aligned.
What’s essential.
* Extensive experience in project controls, preferably within the construction or infrastructure sector.
* Strong background in project management or engineering.
* Proficient in business analytics with good technical skills.
* Ability to vet P6 schedules from contractors and integrate them into client schedules.
* Technical proficiency in tools like Power BI and Microsoft Project.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
* Familiarity with project management software and tools.

Location.
The location for this role is 16 Summer Lane with at least 2 days a week spent in the office.
