We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Permanent Electrical Team Leader to join our dynamic SBIM team at Seven Bridges Maintenance Unit. In this role, you will lead on the management of electrical design team including planning workload and allocating sufficient resources to deliver cost-effective solutions. What You'll Do: • Manage the electrical team and liaise with the Area Stewards in undertaking routine and cyclic maintenance activities • Ensure that, following consultation and liaison with them, the requirements of all relevant authorities are incorporated into designs as appropriate • Undertake the assessment of designs submitted by others • Ensure the electrical inventory is maintained and updated • Ensure tender and contract documentation is prepared in accordance with the client's standards • Identify, design and supervise the implementation of new capital works schemes • Development, monitoring and budgetary control of the annual programme • Control the interface between those responsible for electrical aspects of the Network and those responsible for other design, construction and maintenance aspects • Develop resource plans • Work with the team to ensure delivery of continuous improvement • Comply with the Integrated Management System • Comply with relevant health and safety legislation, particularly the CDM Regulations • Control and prepare safety documentation and associated task specific documents as required on work task basis • Identify and procure materials required for works through authorised procedures • Support operatives by provision of technical support, materials and equipment to carry out work task • Control and monitor staff on a day to day basis • Control central and satellite electrical stores facilities and their stock levels • Undertake random quality control, and electrical testing control, site visits • Work closely with the Maintenance manager and undertake other duties as specified from time to time Why Join Us?
