Supply Chain Manager | Non-F&B | Reputable Leisure Brand
Bedfordshire 3 days per week
£60,000 plus 10% bonus and great benefits
Overview:
Reporting to the Strategic Sourcing Director, this role supports and works with the Procurement team to manage their key (non F&B) supply chains (e.g. Calor Gas, Laundry, Waste). This role will work with internal stakeholders and supplier contacts to ensure that critical supply chains are robust and improved to deliver consistent service levels to all locations.
This role will also be the first line support for non-F&B supply chain issues and co-ordinate with the Procurement team and supplier on how issues will be monitored and resolved.
What the role involves:
* Ensure that Suppliers are delivering to KPI targets,. Establish Supply Chain contacts and regular meetings to discuss, plan and implement short and long term targets, strategies and initiatives.
* Act as conduit between Supplier, Procurement and Stakeholders for key supplier performance. Update procurement team if issues need to be escalated and/or supply chain issues manifest themselves.
* Innovate and develop the supply chain process and Key supplier so that the performance improves and is reported. Advise procurement team on supplier deficiencies that may need to be contractually challenged.
* Establish this role as the key support for procurement team in key supply chains. This role will allow the procurement team for these categories to focus on the supplier commercial relationships as the supply chain element will be delegated to this position.
* Advise and support Procurement team with setting supply chain KPI’s in the tender process, supplier selection, and implementation to help ensure a successful implementation of the contract and supply
The person we hope to find:
* Supply Chain Direct Experience Data driven to allow analysis and interpretation.
* Good understanding of Supply Chain, SLA. KPI monitoring metrics.
* Ability to understanding supply chain issues and potentially what should be the focus for improvement.
* Ability to act as the conduit and catalyst for change.
