Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Children's Registered Manager to lead a 3-bed facility in the Solihull area. The ideal candidate must have multiple years of experience in managing Ofsted regulated Children's Homes, with a strong knowledge of regulations and DOLS. The role requires an Enhanced DBS for Children on the Update Service.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage the day-to-day operations of the 3-bed facility
2. Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and DOLS
3. Lead a team of staff to provide high-quality care and support to children
4. Develop and implement care plans and risk assessments
5. Manage budgets and resources effectively
6. Participate in the weekend on-call rota (1 in 3)
Requirements:
1. Multiple years of experience in managing Ofsted regulated Children's Homes with DOLS
2. Relevant qualifications in social care or a related field
3. Enhanced DBS for Children on the Update Service
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, with weekend on-call rota (1 in 3). Weekend working wrapped into the rate, with the option to stay on the premises.
