About the role:
As an HR Advisor, you will be a key point of contact for staff and managers, offering guidance on a range of HR-related matters. This role is ideal for someone who has a strong understanding of UK employment law, thrives in a busy environment, and is passionate about supporting a dynamic, educational community.
You will contribute to the College’s journey to excellence by providing a responsive and accurate HR service through the use of efficient and effective HR policies and procedures. To support the Senior Head of HR in ensuring the HR function exceeds expectations with regard to all casework undertaken. Our aim is to recruit the best people practice professionals and to deliver an exceptional HR service to stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:
1. Building relationships with all stakeholders to give sound, professional advice on HR issues.
2. Undertake a wide variety of employee relations casework including capability, sickness, grievance and disciplinary.
3. Provide advice and guidance to stakeholders on College policy and employment legislation and communicate forthcoming changes and their impact.
4. Consulting, influencing, and coaching line managers on people management matters to develop knowledge and capability.
5. Work as a valued member of the HR team, promoting continuous improvement, sharing good practices and positively promoting the role of HR in the College.
