Job Description
We are seeking an Assistant Building Services Manager (M&E) to join our Midlands team. In this role, you will support projects across Warwickshire, Oxfordshire, and Northamptonshire, ensuring subcontractor performance meets high-quality, compliant, and long-term standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Participate in project launches, ensuring clear M&E procurement, design, and installation strategies are established.
* Collaborate with construction teams to mitigate risks and maximise commercial opportunities.
* Conduct M&E subcontractor interviews and recommend the best commercial solutions.
* Oversee M&E installations at key project stages, including first fix, second fix, and commissioning.
* Support teams in proactively resolving client and subcontractor commercial issues.
* Work alongside Contracts and Project Managers to manage M&E-related financial matters, including final accounts.
* Assist in negotiating consultant and subcontractor contracts to optimise risk and value.
* Ensure timely M&E procurement, aligning with project teams’ commercial strategies.
* Enhance and support the M&E knowledge of construction teams.
* Ensure teams fully understand M&E scope of works and best practices.
