Food Production Operative – Weekends Days

Permanent - Fri, Sat and Sun 6am to 6pm
£14.04 per hour + Overtime available
Reporting to: Production Line Coordinator / Production Shift Manager
The Production Key Operative is expected to work effectively as part of a team to produce a range of products as required. All jobs to be carried out in a safe, hygienic and efficient manner, ensuring the quality of the product at all times in keeping with the requirements of the Company’s Health & Safety, Hygiene and Quality Policies and Procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
• Promote safety in the workplace and comply with legislation, identify risk areas to management for resolution.
• Line optimization and line startups.
• Adherence to quality control checks and measures. Including raising Non-Conformances to your supervisor.
• To be an expert of a at least two key skills in production and be able to train others as well.
• Assist in any production Key Operative/Operative duties as requested.
• Co-operate in one’s own personal training and development program in accordance with the Company’s Training Policy and Procedure
• Assisting in the training and development of fellow team members.
• Liaise with supervisors to ensure production plan is adhered to.
• Ensure customer orders are achieved efficiently, on time and ensure the correct quantity is delivered.
