UK Sales Manager required for Electrical Test & Measurement Company
- £42,000 Basic + Bonus (5%)
- 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
- Car allowance, company phone, expenses etc.

My client is an International Company who are leaders in Energy, Test and Measuring, as well as Electrical tools for the Automotive Industry.
They are looking for a National Sales Manager to help grow the brand in the UK.
This is a remote / Field Based role, and you must be happy to spend around half of your time on the road, visiting clients.
It is probably best for the person to be based somewhere in the Midlands, but that is not essential, as long as you are happy to travel.
Duties in this Sales / Account Manager role:
- Manage the distribution network and maximise business opportunities in the automotive sector across the UK and Europe.
- Identify new leads and establish accounts within the distribution network, both existing and new, in Europe.
- Develop a comprehensive sales business plan with business partners to achieve business goals and maximise profitability within the network's business units.
- Implement a national sales policy within the distribution network.
- Establish long-term partnerships by visiting, negotiating, and closing contracts with customers in the UK.
- Handle customer complaints effectively and professionally.
- Forecast sales for the country and perform regular follow-ups to ensure alignment with expected figures.
- Create, train, and educate the distribution network on the automotive products portfolio.
- Ensure adherence to company standards and procedures.
- Participate in and support various marketing activities organised by the company to promote product brands and raise awareness.
What our client is looking for in this Sales / Account Manager role:
- Education: Electronics / electrical technician, and/or Business Administration desirable.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Sales Manager, preferred in the electrical / electronics industry market with good knowledge of the UK electrical and Automotive Distribution channel.
- Technical Sales Experience of products in the same or similar markets.
- Technical knowledge of electrical test equipment or automotive diagnosis would be an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal skills, collaborative team capability and an ability to interact successfully with a range of different customers and colleagues.
- A strong negotiator that genuinely understands how to deliver an added value proposition.
- Good presentation skills.
- A hunter - not scared of cold calling and find new business
- A proactive individual that is determined not only to achieve but exceed sales targets.
- Have the ability to form and maintain customer relationships and excellent care
- Someone who is driven and hungry to succeed!! This is fantastic opportunity with a leading company. It is a National role with a large company, so there will be extensive travel involved, with overnight stays as required.
