The purpose of this role is to analyse the gross margin of both Wessex Petroleum Ltd and Airport Energy Services Ltd, providing insight and recommendations to the Moove Fuels Leadership Team. Reporting to the Head of Finance, this vital ‘value-add’ role, is key to understanding profitability by customer, product and operating location. They will work closely with the Sales Operations Manager to understand supplier pricing and buying decisions. They will proactively identify ways to develop, improve and streamline processes within revenue and cost of sales. Headline responsibilities: Customer profitability analysis Creation of suggested pricing models for the sales teams Developing an accurate ‘cost to serve’ calculation for customers Reconciliation of daily supplier prices to contracts in accordance with SOX controls Forecasting and communication of month-end results to the business Reviewing market trends to inform buying decisions Analysis of supplier pricing Monthly margin analysis reporting Invoicing of airport customers on a weekly, bi-weekly and monthly basis Assist with the company’s financial planning, budgeting and forecasting activities Skills required: Previous experience in a Business Analyst/Finance Analyst/ FP&A role Demonstrable ability to learn new systems Effective communication skills, both oral and written Interpersonal skills, having the ability to work with internal stakeholders and build strong relationships Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills Proactive approach to problem solving Desire for continuous improvement Desirable Skills: Proficient PowerBI Skills In return for joining us as you will receive: Competitive industry salary 40 hours per week Monday to Friday 25 days holiday per annum plus bank holidays Life Assurance 4x basic salary Contributory Pension, 4.5% Employer contribution Employee Perks portal and assistance programmes Company events Enhanced maternity leave Enhanced paternity leave Referral programme Work from home
