The B2 Licensed Engineer is responsible for the certification of line, non-routine maintenance, and repair on H135/H145 rotorcraft. Type training will be provided for a suitable candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide engineering operational support to Flight Operations.
Perform maintenance inspections and repairs as directed by the nominated LAE Supervisor.
Lead a team to ensure the continued safe operation of the aircraft.
Complete maintenance tasks, including avionic and electrical systems.
Replace avionic line-replaceable units, requiring simple tests to confirm serviceability.
Supervise avionic and electrical fitters and certify their work.
Conduct off-aircraft avionic and electrical technical work in the Avionics workshop as required.
Assist in the day-to-day running of the aircraft hangar, including aircraft movement and general housekeeping duties.Desired Knowledge and Skills:
Essential:
Thorough knowledge of helicopter avionic and electrical systems.
Familiarity with specialized test equipment related to avionic and electrical systems.
Up-to-date knowledge of:
CAA regulations, particularly Part 145 and Part M Continued Airworthiness Management (CAM)
Flight and Airport Operations
Aircraft Line MaintenanceDesirable:
Knowledge of UK Military Aviation and UK MFTS.
Experience with SAP and ERP software
