Control Cutter is growing! We're looking for a Senior Workshop Technician to join our team in Aberdeen, UK.

Responsibilities
* Development, maintaining and teaching of good working practices is a key.
* To be competent in mechanical and hydraulic fields.
* Good communication skills between the individual job holder and the various personnel they will be in contact with during the course of completing their tasks is a key deliverable.
* A general positive attitude with respect to ensuring that the project deliverables are met is also a key deliverable.
* Proactively comply with Control Cutter’s competency programme.
* Leadership and mentoring of other team members is expected.
* A willingness to learn and be taught new methods to enable efficiency of the role.
* Maintaining efficient, sustainable, planned methods to all workshop activities is a key deliverable.
* Ensuring day to day safe and efficient running of the workshop in compliance with company standards and procedures as well as statutory and customer requirements.
* Assembly and maintenance of surface and sub-sea rental equipment.
* To fully utilise skills and knowledge, enabling proficient use of equipment, tools and techniques.
* To be familiar with all of the company's product lines ensuring that all assembly and testing is carried out in accordance with the relevant drawings, bill of material and procedures.
* Ensure that accurate records are documented for each build and test programme, including any corrective instructions for ECN information.
* Provide technical support to the Workshop Supervisor and all Workshop Technicians.
* Provide leadership and mentoring to all Workshop Technicians.
* Monitor and report maintenance and servicing as per Control Cutter process.
* Work in a safe, orderly and tidy manner at all times.
* Attendance at projects/operations meetings when requested.
* Adhere to all IMS, HSE & Quality Assurance (QA) procedures, work instructions, technical instructions, and maintenance guidelines.
* Ensure company GRN process is followed and any issues reported using company’s Pathfinder reporting system.
Qualifications
Mechanical and hydraulics qualifications would be advantageous. Overhead crane and forklift truck certification would be preferred but not essential. Knowledge and experience with Microsoft applications.
