Due to the continued growth of Bohunt Horsham, we are seeking a creative, dynamic and enthusiastic teacher of Art & Photography who is able to motivate and inspire our pupils to thrive and excel in their own personal artistic pursuits. Art and photography are subject areas that experience some of the highest uptake numbers at KS4 in our school and this is an exciting opportunity to be part of a creative and passionate team, where students develop their creativity in order to understand themselves and the world around them.
Our Art and Photography department includes a kiln room, dark room, and other specialist equipment and software that our students and staff can use. Students here love Art and Photography - it’s one of the most highly regarded subjects across the school, reflected in the fact that we have two classes in every year group. Beyond the classroom, we foster a culture of creativity and individuality through clubs, trips and art installations, ensuring students are constantly inspired.
At Bohunt Horsham, you’ll be joining a forward-thinking, creative team that is both collaborative and supportive.
We are in our sixth year since opening, located just north of Horsham in West Sussex. We currently provide for students in Reception and Years 7-11. Over the next few years, we will grow to become an all-through school for 1620 students aged 4-16 with a nursery facility.
We are part of the supportive and innovative Bohunt Education Trust, which now has ten schools across four local authorities: Hampshire, Portsmouth, West Sussex, and Wokingham; Bohunt Farnborough joined in January 2024 and Rusper Primary School in March 2025. You will benefit from being part of a multi-academy trust offering the support of experienced colleagues across our schools and greater opportunities for career progression for those with both potential and aspirations to progress.
At Bohunt Horsham, you’ll be joining an established, high-performing team that is supportive, collaborative, inspiring, and ambitious.
