Purpose of the role
As part of our continued growth, we have an opportunity for a Talent Acquisition and Onboarding Coordinator. This role will support with delivering a seamless and exceptional recruitment and onboarding experience, by attracting and onboarding top talent, aligned to our vision, purpose and values, supporting our people centric culture.
Duties involve:
* Support the full recruitment lifecycle, from role briefing, advertising, reviewing applications and conducting screening calls.
* Identify and engage top talent using advanced sourcing techniques and platforms, including LinkedIn Recruiter and industry-specific job boards.
* Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential candidates to ensure readiness for future needs.
* Inducting and onboarding new hires, ensuring they have a welcoming and professional transition into Ardent.
* Support People Leaders with an outcome and values based approach to recruitment, aligned to our competency framework, includes supporting with interviews and advising on best practice.
* Support with early careers recruitment such as graduates and apprenticeships.
* Ensure a seamless and engaging candidate journey by maintaining regular communication and timely updates.
* Coordinate and schedule interviews, ensuring a professional and efficient process.
* Use data to analyse and continuously improve the candidate experience, including post-interview and post induction feedback surveys.
* Suggest initiatives to enhance Ardent’s employer brand.
* Support with regular reporting on recruitment metrics, such as time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, source effectiveness and alignment with resource forecasts.
* Work with the wider People & Culture team, proactively identify and suggest improvements to cross team project work or processes that touch on all areas of the people journey.
* Work with the wider People & Culture team to ensure a seamless and supportive onboarding and probation period.
Technical Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:
* Previous experience in an end to end recruitment or talent acquisition role.
* Previous experience of onboarding and inducting new hires.
* Proven expertise in sourcing strategies using tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and niche job boards.
* Previous experience of creating and delivering a welcoming and engaging experience for new hires, passionate about enhancing the overall onboarding process.
* Ability to identify and support driving of process improvements, embracing change and digitalisation.
* A strong team player, willing to support, contribute and learn from the wider People & Culture team, demonstrating enthusiasm for self-development.
* Strong verbal and written communication for interacting internally and externally.
* Uphold and reinforce our Purpose, Vision, and Values in your work.
* IT proficient including advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and ATS platforms with a knowledge of people (HR) systems.
* Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities, producing accurate and high quality work in a fast faced environment.
* Understanding of GDPR and other relevant employment legislation, evidence of practical application.
Desirable:
* Experience with recruitment marketing or employer branding initiatives.
* Knowledge of the infrastructure, regeneration, or renewables sectors.
* Professional certifications such as LinkedIn Certified Professional Recruiter.
