Job Title: SEND Lecturer
Grade: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)
Reports To: Deputy Head of College
Location: Bromley
We are working with a fantastic SEN college that are seeking a dedicated SEND Lecturer to deliver high-quality education and support to their students. This role offers the opportunity to make a real impact in an inclusive and dynamic learning environment.
This college support young adults 19 to 25 years old that have PMLD.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of students.
Assess and report on student progress, ensuring alignment with personal learning goals and EHCP outcomes.
Manage a team of support assistants, working closely with therapists and other professionals.
Contribute to the development and delivery of the curriculum, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
Actively participate in performance management, staff meetings, and professional development.
Ensure a commitment to safeguarding and the welfare of students.

Promote inclusion, equality, and diversity within the College.
Lead by example and serve as a positive role model for both students and colleagues.
Collaborate effectively with colleagues across various disciplines.
Qualifications & Skills:
Qualified teacher with relevant experience.
Strong understanding of differentiated teaching and assessment.
Experience working with students with additional learning needs (desirable).
Excellent communication and team leadership skills.
Commitment to safeguarding young people.
