Job Description
Assystem Energy & Infrastructure are recruiting for a Plant Layout Engineer to work at our customer's site in Warrington on a contract basis.
The Plant Layout Engineer will be responsible for coordinating the placement of mechanical and electrical systems and creating associated component/assembly/system drawings. You’ll manage essential layout data and ensure technical accuracy across process diagrams, equipment data, cable lists, and load information.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Produce plant layouts in E3D / PDMS including mechanical plant modelling, pipework routing, cable routing, etc.
* Interrogate designs within E3D / PDMS to produce Material Take-offs and Schedules;
* Produce piping Isometric Diagrams;
* Produce installation drawings;
* Produce equipment/fabrication drawings using AutoCAD;
* Work to customer and recognised drawing standards.

Experience:
* Understands key equipment attributes and how these are managed in E3D;
* Able to produce installation drawings;
* Able to produce detailed part/fabrication drawings;
* Good communication skills and able to integrate with the team.
Security clearance:
This role requires the successful candidate to hold a minimum of a BPSS clearance without any caveats to that clearance.
