The de Ferrers Academy
The de Ferrers Academy is a part of Affinity Learning Partnership, a Multi Academy Trust based in Staffordshire and Derbyshire, consisting of 3 Secondary Academies and 4 Primary Academies.
Following 10 years as a specialist Technology College, de Ferrers became an Academy in January 2011. It has grown into a large, split-site, co-educational institution catering for students aged 11-18. In 2015, de Ferrers became the first school of Affinity Learning Partnership.
Our vision is to ensure that all children and young people in our care have the opportunity to fulfill their potential through achieving highly, regardless of their ability or background.

The Candidate
We are seeking a self-motivated, reliable, and hard-working individual to join our friendly and supportive team as a Site Supervisor. In this vital role, you will work alongside our Site Team to deliver high-quality premises management, supporting the needs of students, staff, and community users of the Academy.
As a Site Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the Academy’s facilities, providing on-site support, supervision, and security, especially for community use. You will take initiative to resolve issues as they arise, prioritize tasks effectively, and approach your work with pride and professionalism.
The ideal candidate will possess strong literacy and numeracy skills, with the ability to relate well to students and interact positively. Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage, but not essential, as full training will be provided.
