Responsibilities and duties for the role will include: Sales Process Management: Develop and refine sales processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness Ensure adherence to sales processes and policies across the sales team Implement and manage sales automation tools and CRM systems Sales Analytics and Reporting: Collect, analyse, and report sales data to provide insights and recommendations to senior management Monitor and evaluate sales performance metrics Prepare and present regular sales forecasts and performance reports Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the sales leadership team to develop and execute sales strategies Identify opportunities for growth and improvement within the sales function Support the development of sales targets, incentives, and compensation plans Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Marketing department to align sales and marketing strategies Partner with the Finance department to manage sales budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting Liaise with the Operations department to ensure seamless post-sales processes and customer satisfaction Involvement in R&D or NPD process, being the key person to lead these processes Work with HR/Payroll to calculate and provide commissions payments for monthly payroll Team Leadership and Development: Oversee and mentor the sales operations team Provide training and development opportunities for the sales team to enhance their skills and performance Arrange, organize and deliver inductions and onboarding training to ensure all new starters have the correct level of knowledge to be able to operate effectively Implement and monitor a sales coaching program to ensure all Sales people are regularly supported and coached to achieve optimal performance Coordinate regular education programmes to ensure the team is up to date with latest product knowledge, organisational requirements and best practice Foster a collaborative and results-driven team culture Technology and Tools: Oversee the implementation and maintenance of sales technology platforms Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to improve sales operations Ensure the sales team is effectively utilizing CRM and other sales tools Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance sales efficiency Lead ISO processing for the sales department, ensuring compliance toward our quality standards Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in sales operations Drive initiatives to improve data quality and integrity within the sales systems The location: This is a office-based role in our head office based in Twickenham.
