Overview:
We are seeking an Estimator. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the preparation and submission of accurate cost estimates.
Duties:
1. Process sales quotations, tenders, and administration.
2. Liaising with sales/marketing.
3. Present estimates to management and clients.
4. Update and maintain an accurate database of historical costs for future reference.
5. Dealing with clients via email and on the phone.
6. Proactively develop and project manage all contracts with regard to acknowledgement of enquiry, response deadline, quotation follow-up, and associated activities.
7. Ensure all drawings, correct liaison, and procedures are approved.
Candidate Skills:
1. Proven experience as a Sales Estimator or in a similar role.
2. Strong understanding of cost control principles and methodologies.
3. Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
4. Proficient in using estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
5. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
6. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
Job Details:
Part-time: 3 days per week (Wednesday-Friday)
Fully onsite
Pay: £16,650.00 per year
Expected hours: 21 per week
