A level 2 early years practitioner (EYP) is responsible for the care, learning, and development of children aged 0–5 years. Their responsibilities include:
Supporting children's development: Support children's development in language, mark making, writing, reading, and math.
Planning activities: Plan activities that support children's learning and development.
Working with parents: Work with parents and carers to encourage their involvement in their child's learning.
Supporting children with special needs: Be aware of children's special educational needs and disabilities, and work with others to support them.
Ensuring safety: Ensure the nursery is a safe environment for children, staff, and others.
Meeting Ofsted requirements: Ensure the nursery meets Ofsted requirements.
Providing feedback: Provide feedback to parents and other professionals on children's progress.
Following health and safety regulations: Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
Working as part of a team: Work with colleagues, parents, carers, and other professionals to meet the needs of the children.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: Early Years level 3 Qualification / Enhanced DBS / Peadriatric First Aid / Safeguarding Training/ Food Safety Training.
Candidates must be a United Kingdom resident
Attend other relevant trainings etc.
