About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our education team at Queenswood School in Ledbury, Herefordshire. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of our students with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) difficulties and additional needs.
As a member of our team, you will work closely with the class teacher to provide individualized support to students, promoting their academic and personal growth. Your role will involve assisting with lesson planning, delivering tailored interventions, and maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Support students with SEMH difficulties and additional needs in a classroom setting
* Assist with lesson planning and delivery, adapting to individual student needs
* Provide one-to-one support and small group interventions to promote academic and personal growth
* Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment, adhering to safeguarding policies
* Collaborate with the class teacher and other support staff to ensure consistent support and progress
