We are recruiting for a Deli Supervisor. The role is full time, 37.5 hours, permanent contract. The location for the role is: SuperValu Eglinton.
The Role
To manage the daily running of the full deli operation including food to go, deli, hot food, and in-store bakery. To lead and inspire your team, as well as role modelling positive behaviours to maximise sales, all whilst delivering excellent service to your customers.
Role Criteria
Essential
1. At least 1 year’s recent experience in a busy fast food, cafe, deli, food to go or hot counter environment.
2. GCSE Maths and English, Grade C or above (or equivalent) and/or further education in a related discipline e.g. NVQ in catering or higher.
3. Have a good working knowledge of food safety practices i.e., HACCP, scores on the doors and Natasha’s Law.
4. Demonstrate communication & interpersonal skills.
5. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
Desirable
1. Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate.
2. Experience of deli operations including bakery, delicatessen, provisions, and coffee.
