Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic Sports Coach looking to make a real impact? A fantastic opportunity has become available for a full-time Sports Coach to join a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Knowsley.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with students in alternative provision or similar settings, with the ability to build strong relationships and encourage positive behaviour. Patience, resilience, and empathy are essential, as well as the ability to inspire and motivate students to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging sports sessions that cater to students’ individual needs.
* Encourage teamwork, communication, and physical wellbeing through structured activities.
* Support students in developing confidence, resilience, and positive attitudes.
* Work closely with staff to contribute to students’ personal and academic development.
* Manage challenging behaviour effectively, maintaining a safe and supportive environment.
Requirements:
* Experience working with young people, preferably in PRU or SEMH settings.
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
* A passion for sports and physical education, with the ability to engage and inspire.
* Patience, resilience, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
