I am currently seeking a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a friendly and supportive team in North Somerset. Office based and part-time.
In this role you will report to the Finance Manager and will have relationships with all other departments when required.
Main Duties:
* Keep Purchase Ledger accounts accurate and up to date.
* Ensure invoices align with corresponding purchase orders.
* Verify that VAT on all purchase invoices is correct.
* Organise and file purchase ledger invoices appropriately.
* Ensure accurate record-keeping of supplier information for future transactions.
* Address internal and external purchase ledger and invoice queries within 2 weeks of receipt.
* Maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
* Perform double-entry bookkeeping tasks daily.
* Check, input, and pay expense claims as needed.
* Ensure adherence to company quality and legal requirements.
* Maintain confidentiality of financial information and uphold integrity.
* Assist with any other financial duties as required.
Skills required:
* AAT Level 1 required, AAT Level 2 desirable.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to collaborate effectively within a team, while also being capable of working independently when necessary.
