People Administrator

We are seeking to appoint an HR/People Administrator to join our expanding People Team. You will have the opportunity to help support the organisation by dealing with transactional changes for our operational services and being the first point of contact for the wider People Team. The role will also involve you liaising with new employees during their onboarding and service managers to ensure compliance is in place before Induction.
You will currently be or have experience of working in a busy and dynamic HR/Administration Support position, with working knowledge of applicant tracking, data management and people systems. We are also looking for candidates with a keen eye for detail and data inputting accuracy for this role.
As a People Administrator, you will be responsible for:
* Provide first line HR/People information and transactional advice and support to managers and employees via email, telephone or face to face.
* Maintain and update Peoplekind data from recruit through to HCM.
* Accurately process all HR change requests in line with the SLA and business cut off dates.
* Support the recruitment team with onboarding of new employees including processing across from Recruit to HCM.
* Carry out pre-employment checks and process DBS applications accurately and in a timely manner (for new and existing members of staff and volunteers) and maintain suitable records.
* Provide administration and assist with the delivery of ‘one off’ HR programmes or projects e.g. re-organisations, TUPE transfers or HR initiatives.
Please note this is a hybrid role.
About you
To succeed as a People Administrator you will ideally have:
* Good IT skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
* Previous HR admin experience.
* Working knowledge of applicant tracking systems.
