Job Advertisement: MEP Building Services BIM Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MEP Building Services BIM Manager to join our team. This permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to lead and manage our Revit MEP team, ensuring the successful implementation and maintenance of BIM processes and standards across multiple projects. You will play a pivotal role in driving BIM excellence within the organisation and collaborating closely with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and coordinate the Revit team (currently 6 Revit MEP technicians), ensuring resources are allocated effectively to meet project deadlines.
* Implement and maintain ISO 19650 standards across all projects to meet BIM Stage 2 requirements.
* Lead the creation and management of Revit templates and libraries.
* Identify training needs within the team, arrange professional development, and ensure team members are up-to-date with industry best practices.
* Oversee BIM-related software licences, including negotiating competitive renewal rates with suppliers.
* Conduct research on emerging BIM technologies and methodologies to enhance project delivery.
* Ensure compliance with Employer's Information Requirements and BIM Execution Plans.
* Manage internal and external clash detection workshops, contributing to project coordination and collaboration.
* Ensure the business achieves and maintains BIM certification to ISO 19650 standards.
* Stay informed about BIM best practices, innovations, and trends, keeping the directors updated on developments.
Qualifications and Experience:
* British citizen or have working rights in the UK.
* Technical qualification, preferably a university degree or diploma.
* Minimum of 5 years' experience with Revit MEP.
* Experience in COBie data implementation for MEP systems.
* Strong working knowledge of ISO 19650 standards, including implementation and certification.
* Proven ability to manage BIM processes within an engineering or building services environment.
Additional Criteria:
* Must reside locally to AL3 6PA (or be willing to relocate).
* Own transport with a valid driver's licence is required for travel.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and lead a team effectively.
