The Bonnie is situated in a prime location on Sauchiehall Street, between Glasgow’s city centre and the popular West End district and is within walking distance to the Universities as well as main tourist attractions.
We are looking for an experienced and passionate General Manager to head up our brand new team at The Bonnie! The General Managers ultimate goal is to ensure a positive and enjoyable experience for the tenants. You will be leading, managing and motivating a team to ensure the accommodation maintains high standards and takes the number one spot on Student Crowd.
Main Duties:
1. Ownership of the students journey from first impression, whether it is from enquiry, viewing, move-in, their stay through to renewal of apartment.
2. Ensure the team works collectively to create an exceptional residential environment that provides a professional, courteous and responsive impression to tenants & their associated support network.
3. Accountable for personal & team compliance with internal company policies, procedures & codes for example, Team Member Handbook, and all applicable external laws, regulations standards & industry codes.
4. Ensure all financial transactions are effectively managed, reconciled and delivered in a timely manner.
5. KPI achievement and business revenue in line or exceeding budget requirements.
6. Engagement & active participation with external & internal events, actively promoting attendance and working in cohesion with Community & Events Manager.
7. Communicate & cooperate with internal service functions such as Finance, Community & Events, HR, Sales & Lettings, Quality & standards.
8. Accountable for the successful completion of employee induction and PDP completion, thereafter identifying the needs of the individual.

Requirements:
1. Ability to build trusting working relationships quickly.
2. Ideally experienced within the property, lettings, serviced or hospitality industry.
3. Proven service and commercial experience within a property and/or facilities environment.
4. Demonstrate effective management & leadership experience in a service and sales related environment.
5. Proven ability to recruit, train and develop teams.
