Hours: 11.1 per week (8.30-4.30 Mondays onsite, remaining hours Tuesdays offsite)
Got an appetite for assessing apprentices?
In this role, you will work within the Hair department of Hair & Beauty assessing a range of Level 1 to Level 3 Hair course students within the training academy and salons within the local area (mileage paid through expenses). Our learners will be full time, part time or apprentices. You will also deliver some practical workshops at North Star in the commercial salon or academy with apprentice learners.
Responsibilities:
1. Assessing students in the Hair department.
2. Delivering practical workshops at North Star.
3. Supporting full-time, part-time, and apprentice learners.
Qualifications:
1. Qualified up to Level 3 Hairdressing.
2. Experience in teaching, training, or transferring skills to others.
3. Excellent communication, motivation, and presentation skills.
4. Interest in the use and development of e-learning.
You do not need to have an Assessors' Award to apply for this role; however, you will be expected to gain this qualification during employment if you do not already have it.
