Our client is a leading Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation contractor with a diverse portfolio spanning Pharmaceutical, Data Centre, Healthcare, Education, Commercial, and Power Generation sectors. We are seeking an Electrical Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a Data Centre project in Newport, Wales. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic and collaborative team, reporting directly to the Commercial Lead. Key Responsibilities: Validate tenders post-project award with the Project Manager/Director. Assist in project cost control, cash flow forecasting, and financial reporting. Prepare monthly commercial reports and ensure compliance with contractual obligations. Conduct site measurements and collaborate with Construction and Planning Teams. Manage client invoicing and subcontractor payments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Attend commercial and subcontractor meetings, highlighting any cost or contractual concerns. Work closely with project stakeholders to resolve disputes and drive efficiency. What We Are Looking For: Qualifications: Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, Construction Management, or a related field. Experience: 5-10 years of experience in Quantity Surveying within the construction industry. Strong knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical Systems. Data Centre experience is an advantage but not essential. Working towards Chartership or professional Quantity Surveying certification (desirable). Why Join This Opportunity?
