Our established well-known client has a fantastic opportunity for a Regional Lead Occupational Therapist & Sensory Practitioner to work in the Northern Region.
Are you an experienced Occupational Therapist with detailed knowledge of working practices and challenges within recovery-focused mental health services? If so, join our client as a Regional Lead Occupational Therapist and Sensory Practitioner. You will be responsible for the line management, professional leadership, and development of the Occupational Therapy Service across the Midlands and Yorkshire region. With experience from the NHS and/or private sector, you will manage a defined caseload undertaking SI assessments, treatment, and evaluation of interventions across the region on a referral basis.

Salary: Up to £50,618 plus £5000 car allowance
Location: Northern Region
Job Role:
1. Providing professional management and leadership for the Occupational Therapy service across Yorkshire and the Midlands.
2. Providing expert advice and expertise regarding the Occupational Therapy profession to the regional team regarding service development and workforce planning.
3. Establishing, monitoring, and evaluating an effective supervision framework for the Occupational Therapy team and applying processes to manage performance.
4. Supporting recruitment of Occupational Therapy staff across the region.
5. Identifying training needs for Occupational Therapy staff and participating in the development and delivery of Occupational Therapy CPD opportunities.
To Qualify:
1. To be qualified and registered as an Occupational Therapist.
2. At least 6 years post-qualifying experience.
3. Registered with the HCPC and meet the necessary continuing professional development requirements in order to remain on the register.
4. Hold the relevant sensory practitioner qualifications.
5. A full and clean UK driving licence.
