Sales Engineer
Location: Milton Keynes
Salary: Up to £40,000
Role Overview: Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager / Technical Sales Executive to join a leading automotive distributor.

Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the entire sales process, including lead generation, qualification, evaluation, account management, and fostering strong customer relationships.
2. Record leads, opportunities, and orders in the CRM system.
3. Proactively work to achieve and exceed sales targets.
4. Provide after-sales support, addressing customer queries and resolving issues.
5. Contribute to the development of sales and marketing strategies for new markets and industries.
6. Attend UK exhibitions and supplier training sessions.
7. Work standard office hours, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Requirements:
1. Previous experience as an Application Engineer, Sales Technician, Sales Engineer, Sales Executive, Product Engineer, Product Manager, Support Engineer, or similar within a technical environment.
2. Familiarity with CRM systems and general IT tools; experience with LiDAR, Ethernet communications, and Linux OS is a plus.
3. Bachelor’s degree in technical, engineering, mechanical/electrical/electronic engineering, business or related field.
4. Knowledge in surveying, mobile mapping, security, surveillance, or robotics industries. Existing customer relationships in these areas would be advantageous.
5. To be office-based with high levels of travel to customer sites across the UK required.
6. Full UK driving license.
7. Commutable to office in Milton Keynes.
